Ledger Filters and Colors
You can now filter the transaction list in Ledger to show only certain transaction types and claims. Also, you can now associate colors with open claims and closed claims like you can with transaction types.
Localized Patient Access
There is a new organization-level setting that prevents all users from accessing patient information across clinics in Appointment Book.
Bulk Email Address and Phone Number Changes
When you save changes to a patient's email address, home phone number, and/or mobile phone number, Dentrix Enterprise now prompts you to choose which, if any, of those changes you want to update for the patient's entire family.
Operator Day Sheet
The Operator Day Sheet is now available in DXOne Reporting.
Patient Route Slip
The Patient Route Slip is now available in DXOne Reporting.
UDS reports
You can now choose to hide patient names on the UDS reports in DXOne Reporting.
Providers in Report Headers
What can appear next to "Provider" in the header of a DXOne Reporting report has been enhanced, and there is a new registry key value associated with this change.
Patient Health Exchange Enhancements for the Cures Act
Dentrix Enterprise can now read notes for problems, medications, allergies, treatment-planned procedures, and completed procedures from CCDA files to update patient records.
Including Consultation Notes
In previous versions, consultation notes were always included in an exported C-CDA file, but now you can choose whether to include the consultation notes or not.
Procedure Code Categories
In Practice Definitions the maximum number of categories that you can define is now twenty-four. In previous versions, the maximum was sixteen.
Duplicate Procedure Warnings
For given procedure code or multi-code, you can now specify whether to allow a duplicate procedure warning message to appear or to suppress the message if that code is posted more than once in a patient's record for the same date/encounter.
ePrescribe Expiration
The expiration date for an ePrescribe subscription has been removed from Dentrix Enterprise.
Install Manager
The Install Manager is a new standalone program for managing Dentrix Enterprise installations.
Medical Health History Assessments: (For IHS facilities only):
Several enhancements have been made to medical health history assessments.
Provisioning Multiple Users:
New Security Right for Deleting Closed Claims
There is a new security right "Insurance Claims, Delete Received/Closed" that allows a user to delete claims with attached payments or adjustments.
eClaims Enhancements:
2024 Version of Standard ADA Printed Claim Form
The ADA maintains the standardized claim form used for insurance billing. The ADA updates the codes annually, and the claim format occasionally. The updates (which include four new fields) for 2024 printed claim forms are now available in Dentrix Enterprise.
Locum Tenens Treating Provider
To help you maintain a consistent claim acceptance rate with payers, Dentrix Enterprise now allows you to designate providers as Locum Tenens treating providers. This designation appears in a new field on printed ADA 2024 claim forms if applicable.
Dentrix Enterprise 11.0.46 includes the following:
Dental Procedure Finance Report
The Dental Procedure Finance Report is now available to all organizations (without the need for an install code).
Arkansas Medicaid Cost Report
The Medicaid Cost Report is a new report that is available in DXOne Reporting (Custom > Medicaid Cost Report).
Default Place of Treatment
The list of options for the default place of treatment on claims is customizable.
Automatic Eligibility Verification
The new subscription service automatically verifies insurance coverage for appointments.
HL7 Setting for Primary Provider
There is a new Update All Pat Prim Prov checkbox in the Edit HL7 Site dialog box that controls how Dentrix Enterprise updates every patient's primary provider when the HL7 interface receives an inbound ADT message.
SQL Error Handling
If the practice has global setting for system error logging enabled, error messages have been simplified to prevent information from being displayed that can be used by malicious users.
Dentrix Enterprise 11.0.45 is now available and includes the following:
Insurance Claims Notes
This new feature allows the user to automatically copy procedure notes to insurance claim notes when Remarks for Unusual Services are required by a given insurance carrier.
The customer telemetry service, which automatically collects non-patient identifiable information data including global settings, system registry settings, resources, and version number, is now an optional service.
Dentrix Enterprise 11.0.44 is now available and includes the following:
Patient Health Assessments (Cures Act; for USDI V1 compliance):

Enterprise Customer Telemetry – This feature automatically collects certain registry and database information which our support staff uses in responding to our customers’ concerns. No patient-identifiable data, such as patient information, appointment or procedural information, is collected and therefore this feature is HIPPA-compliant.

Patient Demographics
Scheduling
Reporting
Independent Modules - The following modules are now independent modules:
Notes
Tools and Menu
Medical Alerts – Now, if you attempt open the Medical Alerts for a patient in certain situations, a warning message appears.
Medical History Review – New logic and confirmation messages have been implemented for medical history reviews and medical alerts to help prevent information from not being entered or saved.
Dentrix Enterprise Messenger – A warning message no longer appears when you close Dentrix Enterprise Messenger.
Patient Finances – Only one Patient Financial file can open at a time.
Reduced Database Connections – With a global setting set to optimize large databases, the number of database connections has been reduced for Patient Health Exchange, Patient Finances, Suspended Credits Manager, Messenger, Signature Manager, and Clinical Notes.
Improved Database Performance – Optimizes some SQL queries.
Interoperability – HL7 Interfaces
Note: Any appointment that is created in DXE as a result of processing an inbound HL7 message from an external system is considered a medical appointment. Any updates that are made to a medical appointment in DXE will not result in an outbound message being sent
Enhanced Consent Forms - For an enhanced consent form in Treatment Planner, Dentrix Enterprise now populates the Name box under Practice signature automatically with the name of the user who is currently logged in.
Note: In prior versions of Dentrix Enterprise, the box would be blank until after a practice signature was added, at which time, the patient's primary provider would be entered by default.
Document Extraction Center - The utility now extracts all documents that are associated with a given patient regardless of which clinic the documents were acquired at. The utility does not extract documents for a patient in a clinic other than the intended one

You asked. We listened. Dentrix Enterprise 8.0.7 includes several of the top customer requests submitted through MyVoice, including the More Information module, or “Patient Dashboard,” all designed to help simplify and streamline your organization so you can focus on patient care.
The new Dentrix Enterprise 8.0.7 More Information module, or “Patient Dashboard,” gives you fast, universal access to an overview of patient information, from basic demographics to future appointments, treatment plans, medical information and aged balance. You can even add a picture to each patient profile. Because you can customize the patient information page to show exactly which tabs interest you, the More Information module reduces the effort it takes to find everything you need to know about your patients.
Assigning security rights to protect your patient information just got easier in Dentrix Enterprise 8.0.7. Now an administrator can create groups of security rights and then quickly assign users and roles to different groups. For instance, if you have a new employee at the front desk, simply assign her to the front desk group and specify what clinic(s) she has permission to access. Anytime you add or remove a security right from a group, those changes immediately affect all users attached to that group.
If you acquire additional practices, merge systems or participate in procedure referrals, you now can import and export dental procedures and dental conditions to or from another Dentrix Enterprise database. Our updated import tool recognizes and consumes multiple kinds of records—not just problems, allergies and medications—so you have a more complete view of each patient.
Dentrix Enterprise 8.0.7 gives you a more powerful way to select patients with new advanced search options. Create targeted searches for patients using more than one criterion, such as last name and birth date or phone number and first name. The new Appointments tab in the Select Patient window lists all patients with an appointment for a selected day, making it even easier to find patients scheduled that day.
With incorporated modifications to the UDS reports, Dentrix Enterprise 8.0.7 enables your users to find the data required for the reporting year and ensure that your organization receives funding. This includes the new sealant measure published by the ADA.
Enterprise 8.0.7 is compatible with Windows 10 for client machines.
