Dentrix Enterprise has completed development of the necessary updates to comply with the 2023 Cures Act requirements ensuring we are certified technology as defined by the ONC Health IT Certification program.
These latest changes expand the information available for patients and practices seeking to securely share information under the act.
The changes will be released as part of our next Dentrix Enterprise release (11.0.48) scheduled for March 2024.
As with the Meaningful Use Program, the Cures Act Final Rule implements interoperability requirements for providers of electronic health records (EHRs). And, as with Meaningful Use, the latest development work certifies Dentrix Enterprise for the Updates to the 2015 Edition Certification Criteria — requirements of this new program under the ONC Health IT Certification Program. The Cures Act Final Rule program is intended to put patients in charge of their health records, empowering them with greater control of their health care.
